Midweek Madness in Adelaide with Redman and MethodMan /// Adelaide Review

Mid week madness hit Adelaide Wednesday night as two of Americas Hip Hop heavyweights and stars of the classic ‘How High’ movie Method Man and Redman showed Adelaide how to put on a Hip Hop show at HQ, which ultimately could be one of the last Hip Hop shows HQ will see.

Fresh off their New Zealand show Meth and Red were ready to show Australia what they are made of with the first stop of their Australian tour being the city of churches. DJ Sanchez was on decks warming up the Dank ready crowd with a nice mix of of old and new school remixes.

Booom!! Red & Meth exploded onto the stage with some very quirky dance moves and loads of energy. The Duo had the Adelaide crowd eating out the palm of their hands performing classics like ‘How High’ & ‘Dirty’ and a host of other tracks off Blackout 1&2 and How High soundtrack also taking time out of the show to pay respects to the lost legends Ol dirty Bastard, Prince, Tupac, Biggie and Pun.

Meth and Red were running with the momentum the Adelaide crowd was showing them, performing multiple stage diving and crowd surfing acts, showing everyone your never to old to give 110%. This show would have to be one of the best shows we’ve seen in a number of years in Adelaide.

Be sure to check them out.
