SAMANTHA G GERDES “SAMMY G”
Biography
Samantha “Sammy G” Gerdes was born in Manila, Philippines with a Spanish background, and later raised in Sydney, Australia. Her parents, Richard and Christina Gerdes, pasted away when she was very young. As you can only imagine how hard that would have been, 1 year after Sammy G’s Sister committed suicide on Sammy’s birthday, this was all very hard for a young child to understand. From a young age all Sammy G wanted out of life was to become a Performer, and she was driven by the music of Missy Elliott, Usher, Tupac, MC lyte, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson. Sammy was a very unique, growing up as a child from a broken home. Throughout the earlier years of life, she witnessed a lot of hard times and often times had to retreat to a \"better place.\" In order to do so, she pushed past the boundaries of her own imagination and often envisioned herself on the stage as a Performer. She spent several years reflecting on her childhood and around music influences which inspired her to start writing. At the age of 15 she started expressing herself with her music, and by the age of 16 wrote her first song. Mia Jupiter (mtv) took Sammy to her first concert, it was then when she knew where her heart lies…in music…Sammy took a few years to herself really searching for who she really was, and when she found herself, boy did she stand out from the crowd, the way she holds the audience with her presence and absolute amazing performance is something that is now boiling ready to explode….

Where Is She now?
Sammy g is currently been managed by Tara Chambers (11eleven Productions) and has started recording tracks for her first album. Tara is also Sammy g’s best friend, so together are working extremely hard and are pushing the limits to do everything they possibly can…nothing can stop them. They have a strong team in the process of success…with Sammy G, 11eleven Productions, Phat Records, Featuring Artists and Her Dancers.
