Here's the sample for the fourth round of the ozhiphop beat battles. I have choosen to go with three Different samples (which combined is a little bit
longer then 30 secs sorry) for people too get down on. I've tried to mix it up with sample selection to give people some variety. While you are not
required to use all three samples in your beat would be great if you did.
This should be posted in every new round for the beat comp

Awesome idea having more than one sample to switch things up, definitely gonna attempt to use all three samples in mine... though I have no idea how
I'm gonna go about doing that haha, they're all pretty different!
this battle is going to be HUGE! cannot wait, im ready to send but i might sit on my entry a bit longer..definatley expecting some big things from
people
Just my .2....I think the point of the rounds is not to have a overly produced, recorded, mixed and mastered track. But recording/capturing a core
idea/vibe you created. Bottom line you cannot polish a turd!.

Not sure where this all came from, but i thought we all agreed on one beat comp a month. Maybe i started the beat comp little to early but there where
a few people last round that couldn't make it due to there personal time constraints, so extra time would give everyone enough time to finish there
beats for the comp. Personaly i like abit more time for beats but then thats just me. It gives you a chance to reflect upon what you've made, come
back to it late with fresh ears and a more objective view.
If your done then thats fine post your beat in and your done with it. An overly produced track can be made in 2 days or 2 years that comes down too
the person making the beat/song. if someone ends failing victim to this flaw(assuming this is a flaw) because of the extra time then hopefuly they
come to realise this. its all a learning cureve. Inspiration for some people dosne't come over night it can take time and patience. just my 2c.

I feel where you're coming from phunny, but I work for myself, so I need the time just to get a couple hours in.
I reckon (from a completely selfish viewpoint) to keep it at 1 a month - let the exact dates vary, but keep the deadlines to 1 a month.
