Jim, the midget is great. I loved him in The Station Agent, he really adds a lot of weight to GOT I think.
Also I'm not sure, but I thought this was based on the third book? I don't know my GRRM at all, that's just how it seemed when I picked up a few of
his books at the bookshop the other day trying to work out which one was the one they've used for this series. Anyone confirm/ tell me I'm truppin?

thought the first season was largely based on the first book, I've not read any of them so can't confirm but when has the internet ever been wrong

Yeah my bro said its following the first book but it does obviously move a lot quicker. He also says that he actually doesn't like any of the
characters, the only one the is half decent is the Imp.
Episode 4 and 5 were good. Definitely hooked on this now and would recommend. I'm looking forward to "winter" when it comes, the white walker shit is
bound to get hectic!
