Freos backline is lacking experience at the moment, a second year player was our key defender for a few games as an example.

Hardly excited, just happy that we have another defender on our list who will add some depth and experience. Hes no better or worse than Johnson or
McPhee.
And yes we do have issues, as I said above a second year player was our key defender for part of 2011 through injury, not an ideal situation. Dawson
also gives us the option of moving McPharlin up forward.
