Huge thanks to everyone involved in this years beat battles, Some jawdroppingly dope entries throughout. Great to see so many talented people showcase
their own style of production and aspiring beatmakers put their own knowledge and skill to the test. Each round has seen a few new names take a punt
or atleast share some interest in listening and voting.
enjoy your newyears.
we'll be back once again next month. (provided the world doesn't blow up)
the quality and variety of the entries is really good, i reckon that having a whole song to use is the cause of this and recommend the contunuation of
this.
oh and a big thank you too eddy for all his time and effort organzing this and putting up with everyone. The man deserves a beer from all of us
I shortlisted 3 beats and decided on 6, 10, 12. i will have another listen to each one and make my decision.
I have a question though...in beat 12 just before the drums drop in is that a type of sweep pad that has been added in?? would this mean
disqualification for breaking the rules?? i stand corrected if it was made out of part of the sample.
props to everyone who entered, some really quality entries involved this round.

**RIGHTS - SOLITARY CONFINEMENT OUT NOW!!!** Feat. Paradox, Nate Deezy, Aero D, DJ Jamu and Chris Labs.
sorry manic! will add asap, i was in a rush for work this morning!!
And cheers chris, Props to yourself as well for your help and support, I know you contributed towards a few rounds and prizes aswell as the
breakdown's for each entry.. Always a good read.
Yeah we can vote and if you reaaallly want you can vote for yourself ... After hearing my beat over and over tho im more inclined to like someone
elses much more.
Really felt 2, 3 and 6 ending up having to choose 12 mostly because it was a little harder to hear exactly how they made the beat. When it's more
natural then it's a lot easier to just listen and enjoy it then you step back and realise how dope it is.
Mad entries though, wish I had the time for this month.
ALSO: Quick n easy marketing tips: Votes are low yet listens are high so here's a few ideas to help generate more interest and involvement.
1. Follow people from the soundcloud, doesn't matter if it's temporary or whatever people are responding to the titles.
2. The page and each beat on soundcloud should have a link to the voting, make sure to mention it will support the producers and prizes etc.
3. If there's a main soundcloud page it wouldn't hurt to put a sampler of each beat on there each month, just like 10 seconds of each beat making
little over a minute on one track in total. Surely it wouldn't take too long. Should definitely do this for the facebook as well.
Just my several cents, all that basic stuff could take just an hour and would pay off a lot. Cheers
Problems and dues I got em removed
Swallowed the truth and my tolerance grew

Liked the way 13 fucked with the speed of the sample, sounded cool. Was splitting hairs with 12 and 3 but I went with 3. Just liked the way the sample
was flipped.
Thank god I did not enter,as I would have got smoked.Instead I got smoked and enjoyed all the entrys. So many good ones,I think using whole song is the
way 2 go.As 4 the beats I just voted 14 ,It's not the best mix or fattest sounding, but sample chops r as dope as fuck,it 's raw and I'm nodding hard 2
it.
Beat 1 is my JAAAAMM! Mega fucking props to whoever crafted that, but fuck you at the same time because now I need to wear a stupid neckbrace
everywhere I go! Also, don't suppose you used "Glitch" Vst for that? Pm yo
Also, very sad I missed out on this one, an unfortunate event plus a busy month lead to me missing out on this
Would've loved to have entered the last one, but here comes a fresh start in the new year.
Merry chrissy eve and have a loose as fuck new years eve!

My name is Renz!
It\'s just whenever I try and register as that it\'s already fucking taken so I\'m constantly having to chuck in \"oner\" or
\"one\" or \"onez\" etc.. because I have no imagination.
Wow! This is what I joined for- quality beat battles. Looking forwards to getting on the next one.
Once 4 kicks off, really like the drum pattern. 6 has some classy chops too. Still can't decide which one to vote for, gotta listen through the set
them a few more times.
Hey Thisiscon, maybe the sheer number of entries has bumped up the listen to vote ration. Just saying. But there's always room for more promotion with
grassroots stuff like this.
