If your a useless cunt with no imagination and enjoy smashing piss with people from your own country, even though you have travelled half way around
the world to experience something new, 'Sail Croatia' is the thing to do.
You will also have the opportunity to drive home the Australian Tourist stereotype that suggests we are all loud, inconsiderate, arrogant, pricks.
On the other hand, if the above does not sound appealing and you feel inclined to visit Croatia in a different manner, PLZ take my advice and have a
look at hiring a car and driving the coast.
The part of the country I visited was amazing. Beauty, without the posh cunts that you might find in other places of similar quality. I guess you
could describe it as a Plebeian South of France.
I had the chance to spend a week driving with a few mates from camp site to camp site through the Istria peninsula. Strange European steez camp sites
with Naturist sections (read: holiday nudist colonies) attached to the regular camp sites in most areas where we stopped. Virtually no native English
speaking people with a shite load of Austrian's, German's, Italian's and of course, Croatian's. Nearly all the people we dealt with spoke enough
English to get shit done and a lot spoke English well.
The water was crazy nice and far warmer than the Mediterranean further East. You wont find a beach in Croatia anything like you would in Oz, but that
was what made it so appealing for me.
I guess if tours is how you roll and you struggle organising shit, by all means hit up Sail Croatia and enjoy yourself that way. Be aware that it's
not uncommon for a ship to be full of cashed up miners from WA with too much money and a serious lack of social skills.
If your keen to do it yourself, fly into Trieste, Italy, hire a car and then head East. You will even be able to say you went to Slovenia.

Nice one. I dig random bits of travel advice and it's good that not everyone wants to perpetuate those stereotypes. It's too easy to get caught up in

That description of the Sail Croatia trip is pretty spot on. When we did it there were 35 people on our boat, and 33 of them were Aussies.
Having said that though, I think we got pretty lucky with the boat we were on, and I made some mates that I continue to keep in contact with.
I would have loved to have seen more of the coast, but unfortunately we were restrained for time.

I went to Pula for Outlook festival, which I highly recommend, nice pebble beaches, good food and reasonably quiet in the town. Would have loved to
check out more of Croatia but did not have the time, definitely goto Ljubljana in Slovenia, one of my favourite places in Europe.
