Twice now I've consoled this thread for insights about interesting match ups, doing the opposite of what has been said is working out pretty well so
far
p.s 54boys lucky you didn't get your tips in as you received the away team Richmond (providing you realise this by tomorrow)

Aaah shit, didn't realise.
Cheers mate.
From being at the game, we played shit and were just too slow.
6 days breaks back to back are shit.
Also, missing any backline direction/key backline player (Fisher) and 2 rucks (Stanley/Macca) leading to fuckedness.
Letting Jack Reiwoldt sit in teh backline by himself when he's kicked 8 goals shows something is missing.
What do Nick R, Kozi or Milney need to do to get a free kick? Were held all night.

Im still here, Guess Jack getting 8 goals last night makes him second best full forward after Buddy?
Was a great effort by Buddy today wont take that away, but one awesome game doesn't wipe the slate clean of his piss poor set shot accuracy lol

Yeah good game today by Franklin, Crows looked done in last quarter and found extra gear, I know it's only freo but good win.
What's scaring me is how well we are playing tonight, 5 goals clear of blues, could be three in a row. Still; sack Primus

lol this is sad 12min left, if Essendon lose i might neck myself, i expect this from Essendon losing to teams they should beat etc, but jesus probably
shittest performance i have ever seen from any team in past 5 years
Edit. Only upside tonight is few mates go for Carlton... so they can't insult me too bad haha fuck.

Essendon have only won one game in 'June' in the last 3 seasons... they remain the great pretenders.

Carlton will probably drop next three, Geelong, West Coast in Perth and Hawks, thatll put them 6 and 7, good-bye top 4.
Port played tough contested footy tonight, no dry track where skills deficit shows, no chance for Primus lack of gameplan to show. Strictly head over
ball tackle hard move ball forward. Marty Thomas was huge, 14 tackles from Ebert were incredible. Well done its taken 10 weeks to play "football".
Fuck I hope it rains against hawks.
Also - lol essendon

As Clarko said during the week, Buddy is about one quarter away from tearing a game apart. Turned out to be pretty spot on. His confidence in front of
goal was a bit down but nothing like bagging 13.4 to turn all that around - the 2 goals in the last 2 mins were epic..
Also very happy I caught the upset at the G last night expecting a boring wash out - the Dees were excellent!
Sydney better fucking get up today. Mummy back should help. Hopefully will set up a good game V the bombers next weekend.

I've had a few against, this was my first for.
Shittest thing was I was playing full back, so only came down like 8 times.
Spent half the game talking to the full forward.

Awesome round of footy, even though my Eagles did have a woeful loss.
Alright I can finally comment on the Crows having seen them play for the first time vs Freo on Saturday. I was very impressed.
They are a very strong-bodied, tough unit with a good mix of speed, a nice spread of goalkickers, a very effective ruckman and two potent tall targets
up forward.
While the Dockers are not in great form, beating them at Subi is still no easy task. Crows definitely have the tools to win the flag, in spite of
their wake-up call at the hands of Collingwood the previous round.
Also caught the Sydney game yesterday and though the Swans were sensational. They are still a dour, in-and-under side but are more dangerous
offensively than they have been in recent years. Their style has always held up well in September and if they finish top 4 they’ll cause some
headaches in the finals.
Saw 3 other games also. Essendon were shite versus a buoyant Melbourne but with the memory of the way they flogged us still fresh in my mind it’s
hard to write them off based just on one result.
Richmond were great against the Saints on Friday night. The Tigers are my Melbourne team (Richo was my favourite player as a kid) so it’s great to
see them winning.
And what can I say about West Coast? We were crap and blew a massive opportunity to go a game clear of three other sides. But, full credit to Brisbane
they fought like crazy for that win.
Also, I didn't see the game but what an awesome effort by Buddy. Kicking 13 goals in modern footy, in wet and windy conditions no less, is nothing
short of genius. He is twice the player Rioli is.

dope weekend.
Carlton proved how they really aren't very good at all.
Melbs winning against second on ladder was nice to see. I'd like to see them beat collingwood next week but doubtful.
Essendon and Sydney next week shouold be good game.

yeh i know, 13 goals in the unders doesnt really compare, doesnt compare at all, but i grew up watchin dunstall so loved playing full forward. kicked
12 a few times too, 7 was my best in senior footy tho.
edged out planthrax from these forums a few times for the leagues leading, he kicked a few bags in his time as well can remember him kicking 10 one
day.
the 13 i got was in the last round of the season and i was losing goalkicking by 5. turned out the leading player didnt kick a goal that day so i
ended up winning by 8. gyeah.

^ good efforts. i was a half-back flanker, that always, repeat, always, used my opposite foot if i was pushed onto that side - something 60% of AFL
players can't do anymore.
imagine if Buddy could kick on his opposite... 26 goals?

standard efforts for warrnambool boys
jason misfud kicked 26 in a game once, pretty sure it was a victorian record at the time might still be. used to watch him play alot too so he might
have been another infulence with dunstall.
