I thought the final 8 was decided after Round 7, and premiership predictions were based on it?

Dons have a tough run coming up...I think they'll slide a fair bit more and end up towards the bottom of the 8.
Carlton are utterly fucked with a draw which means they'll probably lose their next 3 games and drop out of finals contention.
Swans and Hawks have a soft draw and will compete for top 4.
But I predict this will be final 8:
1. Collingwood
2. West Coast
3. Adelaide
4. Sydney
5. Hawthorn
6. Geelong
7. Essendon
8. St Kilda

The last round is shaping up as an absolute corker.
Seven of my predicted top 8 sides play each other!
WC v Haw
Coll v Ess
Carl v STK
Syd v Geelomg
The final round results will prompt a huge amount of tears, which will be so excessive they may ruin the remote on Mackula's TV 
Also...Hawthorn's shocking ruck stocks will haunt them in the finals. The importance of ruckmen is amplified in September. The Hawks ruckwork is the
worst of any side outside of GC and GWS.
They got flogged in the ruck today by Port who are absolutely horrible in that area. Roughead is not a ruckman and neither is Hale.

Tino Best hit 95...the highest ever score by a no.11 in Test cricket and he and Ramdin put on like 160 for the final wicket.
England have been very unimpressive against WI, the 8th ranked Test team, on pitch conditions which the Poms have tailored to help their side win.
I think the Poms are going to have to improve considerably to beat SA in the Test series in Eng next month.

hey Ronedog,
not sure if you watched ye ol Footy-ball Classified last night, but they showed the 'true' ladder, without games against the Suns and Giants included,
and Hawthorn and Collingwood are on top, with Geelong 6th. Adelaide down to 8th and the Weagles were somewhere in between.

Got to go see sydney and essendon on the weekend. Wasn't very exciting until the final quarter when bombers suddenly decided they were going to kick a
bunch of goals.
Caught a replay of the brisbane and west coast match and it was very enjoyable.
I'm most looking forward to WCE vs collingwood, essendon vs freo, sydney vs geelong in round 13. Should sort out some things.
