Yeah I think it's fair to say that handing over the pizza was the best choice.
If they were to try and run game on you again, then shit would be an entirely different story altogether...
Whenever someone mentions a mugging I feel the urge to mention my own mugging experience....How after having my backpack stolen (ripped straight off
my back) by a group of asian-ninja like thieves (that possibly had machetes) that me and this complete stranger who offered to help, pursued the group
on foot...into back alleys in china town, finally cornering them in a homeless soup kitchen...where I dialled the police and they were swiftly
apprehended.
Cop got the backpack and was like 'is this yours mate?' and I was like 'yep', 'well is this your bong and cannabis?' - 'yeah' - 'alright mate, just
making sure it wasn't stashed by someone else' - hands me the backpack, with my bong and 1/4 ounce of weed.
I felt pretty fkn boss afterwards. Even though some would claim calling the cops was a pussy move.
When I went to the station the next day they took some pictures of some bruises on my back, and a cut on my neck where I got scratched...the same cop
told me most of the group of thieves didn't have a criminal record, and were picked up by their parents (they were crying)...the last dude was older
and had a warrant out on him anyway, so I felt like they had learned their lessons and didn't press charges.
One of the bravest things I've ever done - probably wouldn't do it again but glad I did.
Lesson - Steal backpacks off chrissnake...you end up dead, or locked up.
