FYI I'm calling absolute bullshit on this entire thing. Gun crime has been pretty loose these last five months to the point a shooting doesn't go

crime, unemployment, domestic violence and drugs. some of these suburbs have been riddled with crime and poverty for 30 years or more now. infact
there are only two places in sydney where you will find street hookers at night... one is kings cross, the other in an industrial site in the south
west.. 15 years ago long stretches of Cantebury Road which cuts through the South Western heartlands, were known spots for heroin dealers to almost
openly trade. sudurbs close to those areas now have high addiction levels.
I've lived here 6 years and there hasn't been a night i didn't see police choppers doing fly lows in the area and all night you'll hear burnouts.
there's a strong sense of community and acceptance though in the south west. the junkies and prostitutes become regular locals after a while.. having
said that some suburbs in the south west are becoming quite expensive so it's not the same in all suburbs. as for gun ownership around here ??? i
think they got more guns here than in rural australia... but what would i know... |
