does anybody give a fuck enough to make it viable though? out of interest what crowds do they get to force games over there? are people there like in
melbourne where they dont realise rugby league and rugby union are different codes? could only see it going the way of the reds/rams etc.

Im keen too to see WA return, I believe they will go well this time..
The NRL is totally behind this bid seeing that it will give the code 2 live games per week!! I heard there gonna make an announcement in the next
couple of months on the 2 new teams..
The quality of football and player talent is the highest its ever been so the code could easily start 2 new competitive teams..
Pretty sure its already decided that the teams will be WA & South Brisbane.. CQ just missed the boat & Wellington will get a team next time
they upgrade!!

Theres a lot of South Africans in Perth who follow Union, however coming from Perth I'd say the same percentage of people give a shit about NRL as
they do in Melbourne (exSydneysiders only). Theres way more interest in soccer in Perth and Glory struggle to break 10k.
Id expect crowds of around 6-8k in the second season in once the hype wears off a bit.

a little off topic, but they need to spend the money/effort spreading the game internationally. there is only ONE test this year, was is a fucking
joke, wheres the friendly's like they have in union? wheres the tours? get p.n.g to play AUSTRALIA, not a pm11, get more publicized Pacific Cup, get
internationally minnow teams touring.. One test the entire season? and it was against NZ for fucks sake..
no 4 nations this year cos its only 13 MONTHS til the next world cup.. harden up

With the new TV deal international league will get more exposure because the game is getting sold to TV networks in pakages to get the most $$$
Club/Origin/International is supposed to be sold separately so whoever gets what will hopefully really market each..
