Yeah he can flow. First time I heard him. Message in the song would hold more weight if it was more direct. Despite hating the commercialisation and
thinking that "Aushiphop" as a whole is some of the whitest lamest john butler trioest sounding shit ever, I couldn't really say any successful acts
are racist or make racist music. Its the fans. If these pop cunts have half a million racist country town dwelling hick fans and they don't speak out
clearly about the issue for fear of losing that market then thier spineless cunts, worse than been racist.

this.
and i reckon, on this website at least, that anybody getting anywhere near being racist gets called out pretty fucking quick. i'd like to think it's
like that in most of the scene but obviously there are pockets of it where racism is somewhat accepted.
didn't strut call out some fan of his on facebook a while back for saying something racist? can anybody remember/link that?

Yeah that rings a bell
And i agree (on this site shit gets pulled up pretty quick)
Really he should have just named names.

THE ANSWER IS ZERO, WHICH IS THE garyEST NUMBER OF SKULLS OR TIGERS YOU CAN HAVE IN A PAINTING.
i cant think of any rappers or groups worth any amount of mention that are racist. the fans, that's a different story. bogans like 'aussie fukn hip
hop cunt' now, and with them comes large volumes of retardation.
The best way to stamp out racism is to not be a filthy racist.
Also worth noting; jokes about race aren't really racism, as long as all parties are aware of the joke. Discrimination based on race, i.e. Denial of
employment, social and personal harassment, violence, ignorance of cultural traditions... That is racism. Don't hate on battle rappers because
they're too cheap to make up real punchlines and instead gotta borrow them from their dads. They aren't being racist, they're just being shit.

I havent seen the video due to a shit internet connection here so i cant comment on the video in particular. But, racism is pretty strong amongst the
'ozzie hip hop' crowd. That is, the nationalistic types who latch onto hip hop in aistralia. However, Amongst my friends in hip hop, ie those who have
found their place in hip hop to escape the bigotted Australian mainstream, racism is most certainly the enemy. So I think it is pretty polarised, and
anyone who generalises about it, as some do, is deluding themselves.

Ive been thinking this, albeit a little less antagonistically, for a while. It be great to see any of the top 5 acts, take a really strong position
against the rednecks, towards alienating that shit completely. It is a due gesture

As said, I don't think any local hip hop artists are racist, but a section of the fans definitely are.
It's amazing how many of them there are. When I became aware of it I went through heaps of my Facebook 'friends' and deleted anyone who was in a white
power or fuck-off-we're-full group, I deleted at least 20 people.
Now I have to check their 'about' section before I add anyone cos it's that common. Some people who've tried to add me even have Nazi pics on their
profile, it's crazy. The worst thing is I see they might have 150 mutual friends with me, artists who don't check this stuff and just add anyone to
increase awareness of their music. I understand that but given the amount of people who fit this description it's worth checking out who you add.

I also think there's two types of anti-racism; the more complex "tolerate, accept and share" type, and the bleeding heart over-simplified "lets
pretend we aren't any different" type, which I think is stupid.

I see it more as sit on the fence ppl that say they aren't racist then go to work and laugh at racist jokes with thier boss because they dont want to
be seen as a bleeding heart lefty. And then there's people that aren't racist.
If I hear ppl saying there not racist then they make little exceptions and excuses, sure your not lynching cunts but your not stopping it. There's a
word for that sort of behavior but I can't find it.

I laugh at "racist" jokes; jokes that lampoon cultural idiosyncracies or take the piss out of overly PC sensibilities. If someone told me a joke
where the punch line was "so I lynched the coon" or "no really, slopes will kill your dog and feed it to you," I would never take that person
seriously ever again. I would never deny employment, publicly harass, or physically harm any person due to race. But I will not favour, coddle,
abide or promote any person based solely on race either. I'm not racist.
what exactly is "tolerate, accept and share" type anti-racism?, and what is complex about it?
not taking the racist seriously is anti-racism?

So you just sort of accept racism, don't see it as a problem, and say your not racist. Your obviously not a racist maniac but I don't think you can
just change the goal posts of racism like that really.

Name someone or something,I hate rednecks and racism, but can not think of anyone in oz hip hop who is pushing racism, no one who holds any weight any
way!!!!!!!!!!!!
No. I am not tolerant of bigotry, discrimination, violence or harassment towards people of any race. I worked in job network/special needs
employment for two years and I can tell you that indigenous people have two arms, two legs, a head and can speak English, which makes them perfectly
adequate candidates for 90% of the jobs on offer. They are not offered most of those jobs through the specialised "aboriginal services" programs that
they are put into, programs that are created as a result of this "coddling" that I'm talking about. It isn't equality when you're giving the
disadvantaged special treatment.

It isn't. It fractures the systems which hold society together. I can't tell you how many Kooris sat over the desk from me, defeated before they'd
even tried, because they'd been told by society that they were somehow lesser than their equals. These archaic attitudes towards racial inequality
created zeitgeist anathema to their plight. I am not racist, my friends and children and children's children will not be racist, but I'm not going to
preach to the established heirarchy about it because that leads to pigeonholing, coddling and pandering to the bleeding heart masses, which has had an
adverse effect. I've seen it first hand.
On the flip side though, should people sacrifice tradition and culture just so that we can all just get along? We don't need to do that either. Told
you it was complex.
austudy / welfare / medicare = coddling and pandering

those are the systems that are fractured when accounting for the colour of somebody's skin, or who their grandfather was, or whatever, andis pretty
much my point.
but essentially giving those less well off special treatment. . .
anyway i am not even sure how we got here.
