one beat and two questions...
im wondering how people go about matching samples with their beats...is there some kind of application that calculates the tempo of samples? atm i
just go by ear, and as u will hear that shit gets a little off (plus i cbf fixing it up)...
anyways tell me what you think.

is that a loop of the guitar from sumwhere, if so was the bass with it?? or is that sumthing else you chopped up...
also, where do u find samples like that cunt singing?, coz i look for things like that but can't find anything...

My pick would be though that you've just mixed 2 tracks....correct me if I'm wrong.
If your havin issues with mixing/tempo correction then you may appreciate acid pro. Acid has a beat mapping function that automatically configures the
tempo of your samples. Then you may choose an overall tempo for your track...very handy.
Look out for another post titled acid pro 4.0, I verified a download for it on the fasttrack network (kazaa).
By the way...was that a simon and garfunkel sample?

word kleen, the guitar loop and vocals are from the same track, the strings at the end are from elswhere. thanks for the advice, ill grab acid now

shame the bestest spot for smaples is soulseek (www.slsk.org), just search for soul/jazz/funk etc or any old artist youl get mad results. but i take it from your av youve got tables, and i
wouldnt know where to find shit on vinyl so...

matching can be a bitch
but all I do is keep chopping tiny bits till it sounds right.....you can hear it's a tiny bit off in that but not much, and the drums sound fuckin mad
