Wow, a hard act to follow.

New house, new studio, so I suppose a new photo is in order. My space for the duration - a little sterile at the moment, but free from distraction.

it's nice to see someone spending some coin on acoustic treatment.
I bet it's made the world of difference.

Yeah the difference between this and bare walls is amazing. Not much coin spent though. In the corners and rear ceiling/wall join are bought foam bass traps which cost about $300, and six home made broadband absorbers (rigid fibreglass on pine frame) which i reckon cost about $150 to make, set out using the live end/dead end theory. Great investment.

Next project is some diffusion on the rear wall.

people spend way to much on other studio gear and seem to neglect
the acoustics which I've always felt should be the first purchase, not the last. and you're right, it doesn't cost to much coin to get an ordinary square room sounding half ok to work in.

I would do unspeakable things to have count bounce's studio as my own.

Not overwhelming amounts of stuff, just cool and useful without getting too cluttered...and it looks comfortable (from the video anyway)

Mine ain't got shit on some of these...I'll take a photo when I clean up...I'm currently sittin on 2 crates with my head between my titties (Alesis M1's MKII), MIDI keyboard I bought for $60 bucks off this site years ago, soundcard Prowla thankfully donated which I believe he heavily used and my Technics 1200 with broken slylus...But I make it work, when I need extra tools I take my project to someone who has what I need at the time.

Methodz out...

My little setup, got very lucky with the room shape and size here, sounds really great even without treatment, going to put in some traps and dampeners though. Next additions are 4" Bass Traps and a little Mixcube
