Teen arrested for rapping in public
A teenager has been arrested in Florida for singing the expletive-laden lyrics of a rap song as he walked down a public street.
Christopher Holder, 19, was arrested after a woman complained to police that the man repeatedly said the words "motherf***er" within earshot of her
children, The Smoking Gun reports.
Holder "immediately began arguing that he did nothing wrong" when he was arrested Sunday night, according to a Hernando County Sheriff's Office
report.
Holder explained to police he was rapping a track by Lil' Boosie, a Louisiana-based artist whose songs include "F*** You" and "F***kd Up".
But he allegedly admitted to police that he "agreed that he did not believe children needed to hear language such as that being hollered down the
road".
Holder was charged with disorderly conduct.

Now reciting a song offending someone doing their job is foolish but one is also entitled to free speech.
In the 60s, the streets were laden with free expression. Sure, university students were shot by police for doing so occassionally but it was a strong

That guy deserved what he got and worse. Little kids don't need to hear that kind of shit. I'm all for people swearing and doing the drugs and having
the sex and all that when they're old enough to make their own decisions but young children shouldn't be exposed to all that. If I was the father of
the kids in question and he'd said that kinda stuff in front of them I would have smacked the absolute shit of him.

I think spittin cuss words in raps is fair enough if you're trying to express a point to its extreme... 'Fuck the Police' is all about that,
expressing a view to its extreme. I don't need to ramble on about it cause everyone here knows all about it.
But I even reckon that people that lace tracks with f-this and f-that, and are not using it for any particular reason, are just stupid. If you've got
all the time in the world to write a track and can't come up with anything with more substance... then you should get out of rap now.
Walkin' down a street spittin' curses in front of other people is just moronic. People won't respect you, and people don't take in things from those
they don't respect. There's better ways to have your voice heard.
Anyways... just my opinion.
