Due to not having anything else to read, i nabbed this while i was at the girlfriends parants house.
Its alright. Not 'cant-put-it-down' good though.

It has been very sparse in book land for a while now, having real trouble getting into anything at the moment. Just can't seem to find the
time/energy.
Just finished 'War plc: The Rise of the Corporate Mercenary' by Stephen Armstrong- which was a book that I found in a hotel room I was staying in. Not
a bad airport book, but I wouldn't go out of my way to read it. I was interested to find out that some people I work with know guys from the book...
Also been hacking through 'The State of Africa' by Martin Meredith. Fucking incredible book, but really heavy going. Basically a country by country
history of post-colonial Africa. There is just so much information to take in that you really need to be in the right frame of mind to take it on.
Probably why I've been making such slow progress.
Other than that I haven't really managed to make any decent headway into anything for month now for one reason or another. We ill see what March
brings.
Ah, War plc, I've read that boris. Think I gave it to BLUDGER when I was done. I reckon you'd like Chris Hedges, if you come across him anywhere. He
has a new book coming out in April which I'm looking forward to.
Sounds like you need some fiction! (?)
I finished reading this a while ago, and now am unable to stop referring to anything that's in a mess or in a state of disorder as 'an abortion. ie,
'my bedroom is an utter abortion at the moment'.

Wouldn't that be lovely?
If by lovely you mean shit. And by shit you mean awesome.
Then yes, it would be lovely.

'The truth doesn't need laws to protect it' by Dawg the adlay activist.
MOST of the people that frequent this forum are clueless adolescents or bored, overweight lardsacks in their mid twenties who rarely leave their own
bedroom except to prepare mi goreng or have a wank over the toilet because they've run out of places to hide cumrags.

just finished reading The 13 and a 1/2 lifes of Captain Bluebear by Walter Moers
dope german writer.
Like a adult-ish kids adventure sci/fi book, with pictures every now and then.

This guy is on the money. He's been ahead of the game for years, dropping basic economic theory.

i picked this up the other day and have started reading it, but am not instantly hooked and will probably give up and and start something else unless
someone here has read it and can give me a strong recommendation...
