Syllabolix Crew start new cypher series and announce newest crew member /// Film Clip

Syllabus 1 is the first edition of the series of cypher videos from the Syllabolix Crew (SBX). The first video is shot in the iconic Fremantle Power Station and features Optamus (Downsyde), Bitter Belief, Emjay (Funkola) and coming out of hibernation, but still steeped in mystery, the notorious Graphic of Clandestine.

Each cypher will feature different members of the SBX crew to be shot in and around Perth. With Syllabus 1 comes the announcement that Rob Shaker has been officially inducted into the crew, making him the latest member since Mr Grevis.

Rob Shaker has worked extensively with the SBX Crew for years, including live DJ performances for many members including touring extensively with Drapht, scratches, technical production, mixing and mastering on many SBX releases including the 2010 release The Dragon Project, Bitter Beliefs Isolation and Gallery, Mr Grevis’s The Sampler and My Escape, Australian Hip Hop Supports Canteen, and production on many many more. His latest projects include a collaboration album with Graphic and studio duties on the upcoming Downsyde album.

This cypher, Syllabus 1, was also mastered by Shaker at his studio, Shakedown Studios. Shaker is having a big week, as he also welcomed his first baby into the family, so congrats to Shaker and his beautiful partner Coz.
